Whatever's playing on your computer,
the subtitles follow.

Movies, TV series, documentaries, YouTube, livestreams, plus lectures and online meetings: CueBee listens to your computer's own audio and turns the translation into a transparent line of subtitles above every window. It doesn't cover the picture, and your mouse still works on the player underneath.

Speak your language.
The meeting hears English.

In an international meeting you know what you want to say; the language is what gets in the way. Speak your own language and CueBee translates as you go, then says it for you in the meeting's language. What they say still reaches you as subtitles.

Still in development. We'll tell you in the app when it's ready.

Wingman · Speak up

You understood. You still couldn't reply.
You had a point. It wouldn't come out.

Everyone says your English is great. Because you only say the lines you're sure of. Wingman is a prompter that's always there. An investor's jargon, a professor's terms, a client's procurement process: tap once and it puts them in plain words. Tap twice when the words won't come, and a reply with substance plays in your earbud.

That momentIndustry mixer · phone in pocket · one earbud

You waited all evening for the investor to be on his own. You handed him your card; he was friendly and started talking about the market: dry powder, down rounds. You knew every word and still couldn't follow. You nodded and said, "Yeah, it's a tough market." He smiled politely and went to get a drink. The thirty seconds you'd waited all night for went on a line anyone could have said.

⟲ Rewind to that secondThis time, you asked the question only someone who understood could ask.

He means: with rates this high, funds are holding their cash and won't invest until the wave of discounted rounds is over. Raising is hard right now. You're raising a seed round, so ask how he'd play it.

Made-up scenes: the names, companies and numbers are invented. On a phone, a tap is Insight and a double tap is Follow, read into your earbuds. On a computer you use shortcuts, and while CueBee is capturing meeting audio the cues only appear on screen.

Interview mode · Insider answers New

Skip the script.
Speak like an insider.

Before the interview, drop in your resume and the job post: CueBee researches the company and the field, writes your prep pack, and lets you rehearse with an AI interviewer. During it, press Help me answer and the answer comes in point by point, drawn from your experience and told to the field's standard. Afterwards, AI reviews it with you.

  • Before: a prep pack, plus a mock interview with an AI interviewer
  • During: you press, it writes; start talking at the first point, new terms looked up live
  • Think in your language, speak in theirs: English, Japanese, German…
  • After: an automatic summary, then ask CueBee which answer was weakest and how to fix it

Longest substring without repeatsApproach Sliding window: remember where each character was last seen.
if ch in last and
   last[ch] >= start:
    start = last[ch] + 1

What to say: “If I've seen this character inside the window, I move the start past it.”

Complexity O(n): each character enters and leaves the window at most once.

Recordings go only into your account's private archive, and your voiceprint stays on your device. iPhone and iPad use TestFlight for now (App Store release under review).

You might also be wondering

Does CueBee join my Zoom call?

No. It never joins as a participant; it only listens to the sound on your own device. Where recording needs consent, ask first.

Do I have to download anything?

Not for translation: it works in your browser. Wingman and Interview mode need the app.

Is it free?

Sign up and get 3 hours of translation plus 3 hours of Wingman, no card needed. Interview mode comes with 20 free premium answers a month; after that it keeps answering on a lighter model. With Read translation aloud on, translation time counts double.

Are my recordings safe?

Recordings go only into your account's private archive, and your voiceprint stays on your device. When you translate on the web, microphone audio is sent to CueBee as you speak and saved to your private audio archive; pausing or ending turns the microphone off. The voiceprint that tells which lines are yours is stored only on your own device. If you stop using CueBee, you can delete your account.

Why we built CueBee

The facade of fluency
is often built on the silence of unspoken thoughts.

阳光下的体面,往往建立在隐语的沉默之上。

To keep the conversation flowing, you nod through one exchange after another. You spend everything you have translating their words, and nothing is left for saying your own. CueBee frees you from that hollow sense of taking part.
